Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follow up with payer to check on claim status with better use of Web portals.
- Responsible for calling Insurance companies on behalf of doctors and follow up on the outstanding accounts.
- Prioritize the pending claims for calling from the aging bucket.
- Identify denial reason and work on the resolution.
- Timely follow up on the claims without getting those written off.
- Escalate difficult collection issues to management in a timely manner.
- Meeting daily/weekly and monthly targets set for an individual.
- Good Knowledge of Billing and making edits.
- To be able to work on adjustments, write-offs, and special projects.
- Ability to learn quickly and provide training to others.
