Brief Job Discription:
- To understand and complete the allocated job with accuracy & within time.
- Good Knowledge of Furniture, Transit, Decorative items, Packaging testing.
- Responsible for Timely test completion.
- Understanding buyers requirement for testing.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Product Testing: Conducting testing of materials, products, and equipment in accordance with industry standards, client requirements, and safety protocols.
- Test Planning: Developing detailed testing plans and methodologies based on product specifications and relevant regulations.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collecting test data, analyzing results, and identifying any product issues, non-compliance, or defects.
- Report Preparation: Preparing clear, concise, and comprehensive test reports, including findings, conclusions, and recommendations for improvement or corrective actions.
- Compliance Verification: Ensuring products meet local, national, and international regulatory standards, including environmental, safety, and quality regulations.
- Quality Control: Monitoring and ensuring that testing processes and procedures adhere to SGS’s quality control and assurance standards.
- Collaboration with Other Teams: Working with cross-functional teams such as product development, engineering, and project management to provide insights on product performance and improvements.
- Equipment Calibration and Maintenance: Ensuring testing equipment is calibrated, well-maintained, and functioning properly.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the testing process or with the equipment.
- Client Interaction: Communicating with clients regarding test progress, results, and any necessary follow-up actions.
- Continuous Improvement: Staying updated with new testing methods, technologies, and industry standards to improve testing processes and efficiency.
- Health and Safety Adherence: Following strict health and safety guidelines during testing to minimize risk and ensure a safe working environment.
