Job description:
- Understand Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) of US Health-care providers.
- Good knowledge on Denials and immediate action to resolve them.
- Reviews the work order.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Claims Follow-Up: Monitoring and following up on submitted medical claims to insurance companies, ensuring timely reimbursement for services rendered.
- Denial Management: Identifying and analyzing denied or underpaid claims, determining the reasons for denials, and taking immediate corrective actions to resolve issues and resubmit claims when necessary.
- Communication with Insurance Companies: Engaging in proactive communication with insurance representatives to obtain claim status updates, negotiate payment terms, and address any discrepancies or delays in payments.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all interactions, claim statuses, and actions taken, ensuring compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Working closely with billing departments, healthcare providers, and other internal teams to streamline the AR process, share insights on common denial reasons, and implement strategies to reduce future claim rejections.
