Responsibilities:
- Tax Documentation: Assist in organizing and reviewing tax documents, ensuring
- accuracy and completeness of proofing for all tax-related filings.
- Proofreading Tax Returns: Proofread and verify tax returns and other supporting
- documents to ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Compliance Checks: Review financial records and ensure that they comply with
- Indian tax laws and financial regulations.
- Data Analysis: Analyze financial data and tax records, identifying discrepancies or
- potential areas of improvement for tax returns.
- Research and Reporting: Assist with researching and staying up-to-date on tax laws,
- tax amendments, and any relevant changes in regulations.
- Internal Audit Support: Support internal audits to ensure that tax filings are accurate
- and align with financial records.
- Tax Planning Support: Assist in the preparation of tax planning strategies, offering
- insights into cost-saving and tax optimization opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work with senior team members to provide support during tax season
- and assist with the preparation of audit documents.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing Bcom / MBA in Finance (preferably in the final year).
- Strong understanding of taxation laws, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with tax returns and proofing processes in compliance with Indian tax
- regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling numbers.
