- Ability to help develop problem solving skills among direct reports and other team members as appropriate
- Ability to take initiative to identify, prioritize and implement all elements required for team to fulfill responsibilities

- Ability to develop presentations and effectively present to all levels of company, hotels & owners.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills (all levels of management and external customers)

- Business Partnering: Building strong relationships with hotel management and other stakeholders to provide financial expertise and advice. This involves supporting and advising team leaders, acting as a business partner, and driving value through financial insights.
- Team Leadership and Development: Leading and motivating the finance team to deliver excellence, while fostering their professional growth. This includes assisting in developing the finance team and enabling them to thrive.
- Strategic Planning: Participating in strategic planning by providing financial insights and recommendations to maximize profitability. This includes understanding management agreements and related fee implications for the hotel.
