- A Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience working in Agile environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with agile collaboration tools, such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) and AWS.
- Ability to learn new tools, languages, and operating systems with some training and on-the-job experience.
- Proficiency in web application testing using frameworks such as Playwright or Selenium.
- Experience with API testing.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Java and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Knowledge of source control systems and continuous integration tools.
What are the responsibilities of Software Quality Engineer at Boomi?
- Active Participation in Agile Teams: Collaborate with developers and testers in an Agile environment to realize features throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Design, Development Testing, and Deployment: Engage in the design, testing, and deployment of Boomi products and services, including enhancements and resolving reported issues.
- Development of Automated Test Software and Frameworks: Guide quality engineers through development practices and processes to ensure the completeness and quality of automated test software and frameworks.
- Investigation and Resolution of Complex Customer Issues: Address and resolve complex customer issues to maintain product functionality and customer satisfaction.
- Advocacy for User Experience: Develop test plan specifications and test cases, challenging the intent of user stories, and defining and refining acceptance criteria to advocate for the user.
- Maintenance of Functional Regression Testing Suite: Build and maintain a functional regression testing suite to ensure ongoing product
- Identification of Areas for Improvement: Identify areas of improvement within current Quality Assurance practices in testing and production environments, and monitor the implementation of best practices in testing procedures.
