What are the responsibilities of Associate QA Engineer at Amadeus?
- Developing Test Strategies: Participating in specification and architecture reviews, defining test strategies, and ensuring test plans cover both functional and non-functional requirements. This includes ensuring alignment with industry standards and company guidelines for quality
- Creating and Executing Test Cases: Designing test cases, setting up test environments, and executing manual and automated tests. This covers various testing types, including functional, end-to-end, integration, and regression testing.
- Automating Tests: Assessing which test scripts should be automated, contributing to the automation framework, and working towards continuous testing and integration within the CI/CD pipelineFRESHERS
- Defect Management: Logging defects, prioritizing them based on severity, and providing information to aid in resolution. After fixes, verifying defects and approving changes for production as needed
- Reporting and Collaboration: Communicating test activities, reporting progress, and collaborating with development, product management, and other QA teams to improve processes and ensure product quality
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying and suggesting improvements for the testing process, contributing to QA best practices, and working to minimize the environmental impact of testing activities
