Candidates with following qualifications are eligible for the position
- 2+ years of professional experience in a customer-facing role, such as customer service, account management, or project coordination, or 2+ years of experience in a billing or billing-related role.
- Proven proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets.
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve discrepancies in billing data with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to adapt to evolving client contract terms and internal processes.
- Ability to quickly analyze information and make sound decisions in response to time-sensitive billing inquiries.
- Experience with Zone Billing, NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus.
What are the responsibilities of Billing & Collection Specialist at Juniper Square?
- Own the billing process for clients, ensuring accurate invoicing based on contract terms.
- Handle accounts receivable, managing the collections process, and working with customers to resolve outstanding balances.
- Maintain and update customer billing details in the system, ensuring accuracy.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Fund Accounting and Customer Success, to resolve billing and payment issues.
- Assist the Billing Manager in streamlining processes and supporting automation efforts.
- Participate in month-end close processes, providing support with reconciliations and accounts receivable analysis.
- Address billing-related inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders promptly and professionally.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions to enhance the billing workflow.
