Who is eligible to apply?
- 1 year of system monitoring experience
- 1 year in a 24×7 high-availability production environment
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (equivalent work experience may be considered).
What are the roles & Responsibilities?
- Actively monitor Insurity’s cloud and customer production environments, in a first line of support basis
- Transition incidents to Cloud Operations teams per Insurity’s incident management practices
- Apply Insurity’s incident management & notification practices on a day-to-day basis
- Ensure critical incidents are managed promptly and per Insurity’s SLAs
- Create, provide, and evolve our incident management reporting and analytics capabilities
- Actively participate in Insurity’s efforts to provide 24/7 cloud monitoring
- Ensure Insurity’s incident tracking practices are followed
- Participate in the evolution & implementation of monitoring solutions for Insurity products including:
- Creating and applying monitoring templates and adjusting as needed
- Participate in the alert management process’ evolution
- Creating and maintaining dashboards to report on key performance metrics
- Work with various internal teams to resolve incidents and problems raised by our monitoring platforms
- Stay up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
