Who is eligible for the position of Quality Assurance Engineer at Spocket?
Candidates with following qualifications are eligible for the position
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 3 years experience as a QA Engineer in a software development environment.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages. (Cypress, Selenium, etc)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and industry trends is a plus.
- Knowledge of web development and technologies is a plus. (Typescript – React, Python – Django, Ruby – Ruby On Rails)
What are the responsibilities of Quality Assurance Engineer at Spocket?
- Create comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure complete coverage of software functionality.
- Use automated test scripts to efficiently identify defects, regressions, and performance issues.
- Identify, document, and report defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Work with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and provide input on product improvements.
- Maintain detailed records of testing activities and ensure testing documentation is up to date.
- Write and maintain code for test automation scripts using appropriate testing frameworks and programming languages.
- Regularly update and enhance automated test scripts to keep pace with software changes and ensure script reliability.
- Document test results, defects, and automation progress. Communicate findings to the QA team and developers.
