Who is eligible for the position of Graduate Commercial Trainee at L&T?
Candidates with following qualifications are eligible for the position
- Educational Background: Final-year undergraduate students graduating in April/May 2025 from the following streams:
- B.Com
- BBA/BBM
- B.Sc. (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science)
- B.A. (Material Management)
- Academic Performance: A minimum aggregate of 60% up to the 4th semester without any backlogs or re-attempts.
- Mode of Study: Only full-time undergraduate students are eligible. Candidates pursuing dual-degree programs or studying through part-time or correspondence courses are not eligible.
- Age Limit: Candidates born between July 1, 2002, and June 30, 2007 (both days inclusive).
- Nationality: Indian nationals only. Foreign nationals are not eligible.
- Medical Fitness: Final selection is subject to medical fitness as per company guidelines
What are the responsibilities of Graduate Commercial Trainee at L&T?
- Assisting in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Handling cost control measures and monitoring project expenditures.
- Supporting the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Managing day-to-day accounting activities such as invoicing and payments.
- Assisting in taxation-related tasks, including GST, TDS, and compliance with tax regulations.
- Helping with internal and external audits
- Handling procurement processes, vendor coordination, and purchase order management.
- Ensuring timely delivery of materials to sites while maintaining quality and cost controlCoordinating with suppliers and tracking material movements.
- Assisting in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and agreements.
- Ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Handling claims, variations, and risk assessment for ongoing projects.
