Who is eligible for the position of Coupa System Analyst at Ciena?

Candidates with following qualifications are eligible for the position

• 3-5 years of experience in COUPA Source to pay platform with hands on experience of Risk, performance management and supplier information management (SIM) modules.
• Knowledge in integrated COUPA Source to pay modules such as Sourcing, Sourcing Optimization, Supplier Information Management (SIM), Risk, and Performance management advanced, Platform & integration configuration.
• Experienced in driving at least 1 COUPA implementations end to end
• Experienced in configuration of custom workflow, templates, and events
• Proven skill set with Supplier life cycle management modules.
• Functional and technical experience of these processes: Procure to Pay & Supplier Onboarding.
• Demonstrated competency in SQL query design and performance tuning
• Knowledge of contract management (CLM or CLMA modules) around sourcing and purchasing
• Experience of working on cross-functional multi-discipline (different technologies, platforms) complex and risky projects for a global company with a complex operation
• Able to identify functional/technical issues and takes ownership to close them or seeks escalation.
• Possesses a “track record” of successful completion of assignments with independence and creativity
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with ability to converse with business users/management and other technical and functional experts. Must be comfortable in managing these conversations using web conferencing tools and collaboration technology in multiple time zones and geographies, as majority of the users and team members will be outside India.
• Overall, 5-7 years of industry work experience including business systems analysis, solution design, and deployment of major ERP Systems, 3+ years of experience with COUPA Source to pay Platform
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or IT related fields from a four-year college or university with 5 to 8 related experiences; or equivalent combination of education and experience

What are the responsibilities of Coupa System Analyst at Ciena?

• System Analyst is responsible for high and low-level design, development, testing and implementation for application solution sets within the procurement applications (COUPA)and processes (Sourcing, Sourcing Optimization, SIM, Risk and Performance management advanced, Platform & integration configuration)
• System Analyst is expected to assist in the design and configuration of COUPA’s Source to Pay platform to meet client needs, including workflow setup, customizations/enhancements, and integration with existing systems
• Designs, configures and develops (delivers) application changes, integrations, reports, etc.
• Provides technical guidance and business functional consultation to internal and external developers on the overall solution approach, including technical validation of the approach during solution fit-gap analysis.
• Works directly with the business team to identify business needs and requirements, scope work effort, develops and implements solutions, and supports business process changes
• Effectively builds and maintains internal customer and peer relationships to support effective implementations
• Ensures that the new functionalities and implementations, including configuration changes, are setup and migrated to production following established release management processes
• Applies expertise to develop and implement innovative business solutions
• Suggests improvements within internal IT processes (documentation, month/qtr. end support, etc.) and able to implement these suggestions
• Support the implementation and deployment of COUPA’s solutions, including user training and ongoing support
