What are the responsibilities of a Payroll Executive at Licious?
As a Payroll Executive at Licious you will be working on the following aspects,
- Managing the entire payroll process from collation of inputs to sending data to the payroll vendor.
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Validating payroll data to ensure correctness before processing.
- Handling attendance, leave of absence (LOP), and meal voucher calculations accurately.
- Ensuring payroll processing is done on time to facilitate timely salary payments to employees.
- Communicating effectively with internal stakeholders (e.g., HR, Finance) regarding payroll-related matters.
- Addressing queries and providing timely updates.
- Managing the payroll aspects of employee exits, including full and final settlement calculations and payments.
- Having a good understanding of income tax laws related to salaries.
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and timely submission of tax-related documents.
- Proficiency in managing Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), and Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) processes.
- Generating challans and ensuring timely payments to respective authorities.
- Good knowledge of state and central labor laws relevant to payroll and employee benefits.
- Handling issues related to PF, ESI, Professional Tax (PT), and Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) effectively.
