Candidates with following qualifications are eligible for the position
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Logical and critical thinker; able to identify and apply relevant qualitative and quantitative data
- Good experience in primary/syndicated research, data analytics, modeling and reporting
- Good analytical capabilities & skills
- Good attention to detail;
- Good written, verbal and communication skills
- Conceptual knowledge of highly technical products
- Strategic thinker with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into relevant, understandable and actionable insights for different stakeholders
- Good organizational and project management skills; proven ability to manage multiple tasks to conclusion, on time, and without compromise to quality of work product
- Up to 20% travel
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
What are the responsibilities of Competitive Intelligence Analyst at Hyland?
- Execute the win/loss program by requesting scoring information, reviewing materials received, conducting interviews and surveys, and analyzing CRM data for inclusion in the competitive intelligence databases.
- Assist in building datasets from qualitative and quantitative sources, in order to transform information into actionable intelligence
- Source, monitor, and curate information about competitors, customers, and markets to stay on top of industry news, trends, as well as competitor pricing, products and strategies.
- Own the competitive intelligence internal site and ensure that all information is relevant, updated and accurate
- Analyze structured and semi-structured data sets from a variety of sources
- Implement processes, procedures, policies and templates to improve data gathering, analysis and intelligence dissemination.
- identify, analyze and synthesize data and other intelligence from internal and external sources to develop tailored products and services
- Assist in creating competitive assets including battle cards, internal communications, positioning guides, and more to articulate competitive positioning, messaging and product strategy
- Develop and maintain monthly bulletins and reports for Sales Management and internal site.
- Work with vendors on outsourced primary and secondary research and win loss programming.
- Understand the competitors’ go-to-market strategies, technical capabilities, and messaging
