Job Requires:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English is a must
- Willingness to work in early morning is a must (5.30 am to 3.30 pm)
- Willingness to work 5 days a week with rotational weekly offs (Saturday and Sundays will not be off) is a must
- Minimum 1-year experience in Consumer Loan Underwriting or Mortgage Underwriting in the US market
- Should be well versed with the procedures for reviewing the Credit Report (Experian, Transunion, Equifax) and should have good understanding of the FICO scores and ability to identify Bankruptcy, Delinquencies through the credit report reviews.
- Should be well versed with Income verification and Income calculation procedures using Paystubs, W2s and Military LES statements.
- Experience in Income calculation using Tax Documents like Schedule C, Schedule E, 1099, 1065, K1, 1120S, for Self-employed borrowers would be an added advantage though not mandatory.
- Good knowledge of Banking principles
- Good knowledge of Lending principles
- Good Analytical skills and Logical reasoning
- Should be a team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Graduation in any discipline.
